“Reality” – Genius Branding By Apple

Apple.com is the most popular and powerful brand in the world. According recent tech news and WIPO brand database Apple entries into virtual reality business (headsets, smartglasses, smartlenses, wearable devices, and maybe body microchip implants) bye bye old-school monitors, computers, notebooks, TVs and finally smartphones. In Davos 2022 Nokia CEO says 6G will be here by 2030 — but you might not access it via your current smartphone because the smartphone as we know it today will not anymore be the most common interface, he said. “Many of these things will be built directly into our bodies” (hello Elon Musk’s Neuralink).

XR VR MR AR – so many abbreviations makes customers frustrated. And here we go again, how to choose the best brand for VR devices, headsets, OS and make it easy to remember. Apple chooses only one word for their new ecosystem – Apple Reality (e.g: realityOS, Reality One, Reality Pro, etc). Just one f*ckn’ word REALITY without VR AR MR XR suffixes and other prefixes. It makes some sense because Metaverse (Web3) or just virtual reality will change the world. Virtual is reality.
